Diatect Bed Bug Killer Review
Posted in Product Reviews on 15. Mar, 2010
Diatect Bed Bug Killer is a unique bed bug spray because it has a fragrant citrus smell and completely free of chemical odors. The way it kills bed bugs is different fro any other products in the market. It does that by paralyzing them and dehydrating them.
The unique formulation of pyrethrins and diatomaceous earth results in a deadly cut into the cuticle of the insect, leaving the bugs paralyzed and dehydrated. It is then left to die. You can use this product either in a dust form or moistened form. You can place the dusts at the hiding places of the bed bugs, they will definitely die because of dehydration.
After a short period of time, the ingredients break down so that it leaves no stains or marks of contamination. It is easy to vacuum up the dusts and it won’t leave any stains.
As good as it sounds, Diatect Bed Bug Killer is still a product that is filled with chemicals. People who are environmentally friendly will not want to use this product no matter how effective it is. The diatomaceous powder has been known to dehydrate insects, but the one used i this product is so much more powerful as it has added ingredients to make it so.
Although it is made entirely from chemicals, Diatect claims that it does not create harmful toxins that will be released into the atmospehere. So, you can be sure it is safe to be used in your home. As much as they claim it to be safe, it is a known fact that pyrethrins are harmful chemicals.
You can use the product as its powder form alone, mixing it with water to be used in a spray bottle. Either way will be effective since it is highly concentrated. Diatect warns us to be careful when your house has fish as pets, because the chemical is very harmful for the fish. So, make sure your spray does not get into the water of your aquarium.
