How To Get Rid Of Bed Bugs

If you constantly have itchy red bumps on your skin which you don’t know where you got them from, it could possible be a bed bug bite. This can be identified by the intense itchiness the bump gives you. If you keep scratching them, your skin will tear easily.

Once you get such bites, it’s a headache to get rid of the bed bugs. Since mass spraying of insecticide has reduced, bed bugs have been appearing more than ever before. The government are only using cockroaches traps which are of no harm to the bed bugs.

Bed bugs prefer to live in a place where the temperature is not too extreme. From this preference of theirs, we can use it as their weakness and exterminate them.

Once bed bugs has infected your room, there is no other choice but to get rid of everything that is in your room. This may sound like a waste in expense, but you can’t just get rid of them by setting some baits.

If you are able to, wash all your belongings in hot water. Bed bugs won’t be able to withstand such extreme temperatures and will surely succumb to it.

You should also use a vacuum cleaner and vacuum all the crevices and cracks in your walls, floors or even ceiling. This is a great place for the bed bugs to hide when they are not out at night looking for human blood to suck.

After finishing the vacuum, it is better to wash the vacuum bag in hot temperature. Once you check that they are dead, then only throw them away. You don not want them to crawl back into other people’s houses, do you?

The other thing you can do is call a pest control company to get rid of these pests for you. They are professionals and should know what they are doing. However, since they want to make sure your whole house will be free of bed bugs, you need to evacuate your house and pay a high price for them to do their job.
