Bed Bugs Information
Bed bugs are tiny insects that are red and brownish in color. They are nocturnal insects, which means that they are asleep during the day and are only active during the night. The dangerous part about bed bugs is that its primary food is human blood.
They are just like vampires, in forms of little bugs that are hard to detect. There survival instinct is strong so it is hard to not have blood sucked by them if they have already infested your house.
They are tiny creatures and it is hard to locate their hiding place. They are called bed bugs because they usually hide in one’s bed and their meals happen when you are asleep on your bed. Whenever you are bitten by a bed bug, you will feel that the affected area is itchy and it will form a reddish lump as well.
They are an annoyance since you always wake up feeling itchy on a new body part. They target any part of your exposed skin to get fresh blood for survival. To stop the activity of the bed bugs, you will definitely need to locate their hiding places so that you can control their feasting on you.
It is important to keep your bed clean to avoid bed bug bites. However, this is not easy as they are very tiny. The only way is to wash your bed sheets and blankets in very hot water. They can’t stand high temperatures so it is a good way to kill them.
Another alternative would be using a hair dryer and using the hottest temperature and blasting it all over your bed. The bed bugs may die but their body is still left in your bed. It will be hard to clear of the dead bodies though.
In order to find out if they are truly gone, you would just have to go to sleep and check your skin for itchiness the next day. If you spot big red blotches on your skin, it is a sign that there are still bed bugs roaming in your house.
Once this happens, you would need the help of bed bug products such as bedbug-proof bed sheets, bed bug spray killers and the different types of sprays.
The best bed bugs sprays are ones that are made naturally without any use of chemical. This is because you will be spraying your whole house with it. The last thing you want to do is clean your whole house that has stains of the spray and the odour.
